PT Molindo Raya is a fermentation industry producing Ethanol with the set up capacity of 50, 000 Kl / year (330 working days / year) . Current operating capacity is more or less 45, 000 Kl / year.
PT. Molindo Raya produces high quality ethanol with the purity of
* 97% v / v-Super Quality
* 96. 5% v / v-Prime Quality
* 95% v / v-Technical Grade Quality
* 99. 9% v / v-Absolute Ethanol
The product is for local needs and export markets. Moreover, there are integrated product of 5, 000 tons Potassium fertilizer which can be produced per year with the K2O of 42% w / w. This K2O is the side product of ethanol waste treatment.
In 1995, PT. Molindo Raya in association with Praxair Inc. (USA) has successfully made use of CO2 gas of the fermentation to produce CO2 liquid and In 1999, PT. Molindo Raya has taken all ownership to establish PT. Molindo Inti Gas.
The largest Ethanol Distillery and "PIONEER" in Anhydrous (Fuel) Grade Ethanol in Indonesia. Established since 1965 in Lawang, sub district of Malang Regency-East Java. Molindo has pioneered the production of Fuel Ethanol since the last 3 years and working closely with Indonesian Government to implement the national biofuel program. Nowadays, Molindo has supplied to PERTAMINA (State Owned Oil Comp) to blend the ethanol with gasoline.
